5 MAINTANANCE - GARBAGE MANAGEMENT
5.1 DISPOSAL OF MATERIALS
All maintenance operations and repairs must be carried out with the unit in stop position and with the power
of the unit and of the condenser unit switched off.
These maintenance operations must only be carried out by specialised qualifi ed staff.
Attention! During cleaning operations, it is high recommended to use working gloves.
5.2 PERIODICAL CHECKS
At regular intervals (at least once a year), it is important to make a complete system check by
qualifi ed staff only.
Please check that:
• the condensed water drainage system must work correctly
• check for gas refrigerant leaks and make sure the refrigeration unit works correctly
• make sure the condition of the electric system is completely safe
• check the sliding doors gaskets as well as the door itself and make sure it closes correctly (VULCANO VS)
• clean the condenser of the refrigeration unit
5.3 REPLACE OF TOP CANOPY LIGHT
The fl uorescent lamps, include the information that the lamps have to be replace by identical
lamps only.
See the max lamps power identifi cation label stuck near the lamps.
The electric power supply must be switch-off, by disconnecting the equipment or by opening the switch You
fi nd at the top of principal electric supplier whenever it is necessary to change the lamps. To remove the lamp
take the plastic protection of the lamp off and size it at the two ends. Move it 90° round till You hear a click.
Replace the lamp paying attention not to break it. Install the new lamp following the same instructions and
cover it again with the protection.
5.4 SIDE WALL GLASS REPLACEMENT
In case the side glass end wall damage and/or side glass end wall replace operation, remember to do not dissi-
pate on the environment.
5.5 MOTOR FAN REPLACEMENT
If the Vertical Multi-deck Display is equipped with fan, and you need to replace it, removing the power supply, checking
the data plate of the motor fan and replace it with one of with same power, voltage and frequency.
These operations must be done by a technician!
5.6 SUBSTITUTION OF THE COMPRESSOR/ REFRIGERATED GAS AND OIL
In case of damage or replace of compressor unit, remember to recover the gas refrigerant do not dissipate on
the environment.

5.7 VERTICAL MULTI-DECK DISPLAY WITH ELECTRIC DEFROSTING
VULCANO C versions (MEATS) are fi tted with an automatic defrost system, which parameters
are already setted by factory and the number, duration and interval can be adjusted using the control panel;
