b. Connect the leveled sine-wave generator out-

504 BNC coaxial cable and a 504 BNC
termination to the CH 1

c. Set CH 1 VOLTSIDIV switch to 0.5 V for a

0-division display.
d. Set the generator to produce a 10-MHz, 5 V
peak-to-peak output.
e. Set Vertical MODE to CH 2 and ALT.
f. CHECK-That the CH 1 trace amplitude is less
than 0.1 division.
g. Move the test-signal cable from the CH 1
OR

input connector to the CH
2
OR
Y
input connector.
h. SET:
Vertical MODE CH 1

i. CHECK-That the display amplitude is less than
0.1 division.

Disconnect the test equipment from the

c. Set the generator to produce a 10-MHz, six-
division display.
d. Set Vertical MODE to INV and ADD.
e. CHECK-That the ADD display is less than 0.6
division.
f. Disconnect the test equipment from the
instrument.
