b. Select 50-ns time markers from the time-
mark generator.
c. Adjust the Trigger LEVEL control for a stable,
triggered display.
d. Use the Horizontal POSITION control to align
the second time marker with the second vertical
graticule line.
e. CHECK-Timing accuracy is within
3% (0.24
division at the tenth vertical graticule line), and
linearity is within 5% (0.10 division over any two of
the center eight divisions).
NOTE
When checking the timing accuracy for
SECIDIV switch settings from
50 ms to 0.5 s,
watch the time marker tips only at the second
and tenth vertical graticule lines while
adjusting the Horizontal
POSITION control.
f. Repeat Parts c through e for the remaining
SECIDIV and time-mark-generator setting combi-
nations shown in Table 5-4 under the Normal
column.
