Overview

This document provides an instruction manual for the CERVICAL SPINE MASSAGER, available in various models: JT500, JT600, JT700, and their "W" series counterparts (JT500W, JT600W, JT700W). The "W" series models include additional electrodes as an accessory.

Function Description

The primary function of these devices is TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) low-frequency pulse massage. The JT-700/700W models offer an enhanced experience by combining TENS low-frequency pulse massage with constant temperature hot compress. This dual functionality aims to provide comprehensive relief and relaxation to the cervical spine area.

Usage Features

The massager is designed for ease of use with a straightforward operation process. Before use, it is recommended to wet your neck to ensure optimal contact and effectiveness of the massage. The device is then worn around the neck.

Basic Operation (for all models):

  1. Power On/Off: A long press (3 seconds) of the power button turns the machine on or off.
  2. Mode Adjustment: A short press of the power button allows you to switch between different massage modes. The device offers six distinct massage modes:
    • Mode 1: Automatic combination 1 (default startup mode)
    • Mode 2: Acupuncture
    • Mode 3: Massage
    • Mode 4: Finger pressure
    • Mode 5: Kneading
    • Mode 6: Hammer The intensity is set to the first gear after each mode conversion. The automatic combination mode is generally recommended for initial use.
  3. Intensity Adjustment:
    • The "+" key (intensity UP) is used to increase the pulse strength. Each press enhances the strength by one gear, with a total of 9 gears available.
    • The "-" key (intensity DOWN) is used to weaken the pulse strength. Each press reduces the strength by one gear. It is advisable to start with a weak gear and adjust to a self-acceptable strength, especially during the first use. The recommended usage duration is 10-20 minutes a day.

Specific Features for "W" Series Models (JT500W, JT600W, JT700W): These models come with additional electrode sheets.

  1. Electrode Sheet Assembly: Disassemble the outer package and assemble the electrode sheet onto the device.
  2. Cable Connection: Connect the provided cable to the device.
  3. Application: Similar to the basic models, wet your neck and wear the massager. The subsequent steps for power on/off, mode switching, and intensity adjustment are the same as described for the basic models.

Automatic Shut-off: The product is programmed to automatically shut down after 15 minutes of continuous operation. It is recommended not to use it for more than 30 minutes a day.

Charging/Battery Replacement:

  • Rechargeable Models (JT600/600W, JT700/700W): When the device is low on power, indicated by dimmed or non-functional colorful lights, use the special charging cable. Plug one end into the host and the other into a mobile phone charger (output 5V-1A / 2A). The light will be on during charging and will extinguish when fully charged. If the product has been left unused for a long time, recharge it before use.
  • Battery Type Products (JT500/500W): If the colorful lights dim or the device cannot be turned on due to low power, replace the dry batteries with new ones of the same model (two AAA dry batteries).

Maintenance Features

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of the cervical spine massager.

Daily Maintenance:

  • Cleaning: Always turn off the machine before cleaning. Use wet paper towels to clean the electrode pads. For stubborn dirt, a small amount of medical alcohol (75% concentration) can be used for wiping and disinfection. For general daily maintenance, use a neutral detergent and a soft rag.
  • Avoid Corrosive Agents: Do not use corrosive detergents.
  • Water Immersion: Do not immerse the product in water or rinse it directly. During cleaning, prevent water or other liquids from entering the device body to avoid the risk of short circuits and electric shock.

Storage:

  • Store the product in a ventilated and dry place after use.
  • Avoid placing heavy objects on the product.
  • Do not use or store the product in places with direct light, high temperature and humidity, water, excessive dust, near fireworks (due to vibration and shock), or strong electromagnetic fields.

Long-term Storage (for rechargeable models):

  • If the product is not used for a long time (more than 3 months), charge it every three months to prevent battery damage and impact on host parts.
  • If the battery is not used for a long time, it is recommended to remove it to avoid damage.

Electrode Pad Care:

  • Ensure the electrode pad directly contacts the skin. Adjust its position to be close to the skin for optimal performance.
  • Remove any hair, clothing, accessories, or other items between the electrode pad and the skin.
  • Do not stick the electrode pads on the affected area for a long time, as this may cause skin diseases.
  • Do not allow metal parts of the skin, necklaces, or other objects to contact the electrode pads during massage to prevent strong electric shock.
  • Do not use electrode pads that are notched or damaged on the surface, as this may lead to accidents or malfunctions.

Disposal: When discarding the product or its parts, follow relevant environmental protection regulations. Separate household waste and send it to a qualified recycling site for disassembly, recycling, and reuse according to national regulations. This practice helps protect the environment.
