Overview

This document is the user guide for the TELEFUNKEN PEPS TB 201, TB 202, TB 251, and TB 252 Digital Cordless Phones. It provides comprehensive instructions on setting up, using, and maintaining the device, including details on its various features and troubleshooting.

Function Description

The TELEFUNKEN PEPS series offers digital cordless phones designed for home or small office use. These phones allow users to make and receive calls, manage contacts, and utilize an integrated answering machine (on TB 251 and TB 252 models). The system consists of a handset and a base station, with the ability to register up to five handsets to a single base. Key functions include:

  • Making and Receiving Calls: Standard call functionality, including direct dialing, preparatory dialing, and hands-free mode.
  • Phonebook: Stores up to 50 names and numbers, each with a customizable ringtone.
  • Caller Display and Call Lists: Displays caller information (number or name if in phonebook) and stores details of the last 40 received calls. Users can view, dial from, copy to phonebook, and delete entries from the call list.
  • Redial List: Stores the last 10 dialed numbers for quick redialing, with options to view, delete, and copy to the phonebook.
  • Internal Calls and Call Transfer: Allows for communication between registered handsets and the transfer of external calls between them.
  • 3-Way Call: Enables a conference call between an external caller and two internal handsets.
  • Answering Machine (TB 251 & TB 252 models): Digitally records up to 13 minutes of messages, including incoming calls and memos. It can be operated from the base, handset, or remotely. Features include setting day and time, switching on/off, listening to messages, managing outgoing messages (OGMs), setting answer delay, recording memos, and call screening.
  • Keypad Lock: Prevents accidental dialing by locking the handset keypad.
  • Paging/Find Handset: Locates misplaced handsets by making them ring.
