6 Problem solver
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE REMEDY
The remote control does not work. -The appliance is in Stand-by.
-The remote control is not being
directed towards the receiver.
-The remote control batteries are flat.
-The batteries have been inserted in
the wrong direction.
-The remote control has been dropped
and its internal components have
been damaged.
-Wrong remote control mode in use.
-Press the STAND-BY button on the
appliance to check if the device is
working properly.
-Make sure nothing is obstructing the
front panel.
-Change batteries.
-Check the battery polarities.
-Contact the local dealer and buy a
new remote control.
-Press STB or TV button and check
the response of the box.
Some buttons do not work -Buttons are not pre-programmed
- Buttons has been programmed by
learning function and later an TV or
STB code has been set
-Programme the buttons by using the
learning function (ref. 4.1.4 and/or
4.2.4)
- Perform a reset of the TV and/or
STB code (ref. 4.1.5 and/or 4.2.5)
CAUTION
- TV, LED, STB, SOURCE keys are no programmable during Auto learning mode.
- Because of the large number of TV equipment available in the market, it is not possible to guarantee the compatibility
with all devices.
