JBOX Using Horizontal Mud Ring Instructions
Requires speed nut that accommodates a #6-32 1” screw.
Requires two #6-32 1-inch screws
Requires 1 hole be drilled into backplate (drilling performed onsite or by Telkonet Production prior to
shipping if requested in advance)
Step 30 Ensure the JBOX has been installed with a horizontal mud ring.
Step 31 Unless this was done prior to shipping, drill a hole in backplate as shown in Figure 21. The
horizontal distance between the hole and the inner right side of the plate should be 1.0”.
The vertical distance between the hole and the inner right side of the plate should be 1
¾”. The hole should accommodate a #6-32 1” screw.
