IMPORTANT!
Never immerse the jar (7) or the base (11) in water or other liquid substances
and never put it under running water.
• Never use abrasive or chemical products.
• Make sure the appliance is completely dry before putting it away
5– DESCALING
Regularly descale the appliance in order to ensure kettle optimal performance as
long as possible.
Tak e care of water hardness in your area and how often the appliance is used.
Approximately, in case water is not particularly hard, descaling must be carried
out at least once every 6 months, otherwise at least once every 3 months.
If you notice an increase of noise produced by the appliance while water is
boiling, or if the appliance switches off before water has boiled, descaling must be
carried out.
Only use a descaling agent suitable for appliances which come in contact with
food and follow the instructions provided.
After descaling, rinse the jar (7) inner part thoroughly with clean water and carry
out one or two water boiling cycles.
NOTE: Never use vinegar as descaling agent
