Press ENTER, and the answer (6) appears. To the
computer, the statement PRINT 12/2 is the same
as the statement 12 -r 2 = is to you and me.
SCREEN 2
On the other hand, we can hold the SHIFT key
and type the SLASH/HYPHEN key to create the
hyphen symbol. If you're typing normal text, you
can use the hyphen between words. In math
calculations, the hyphen symbol becomes the
computer's subtraction (minus) symbol. Trythis:
PRINT 800-250
The subtraction problem now appears.
SCREEN 3
Press ENTER and the answer of 550 will be dis
played on your screen.
SCREEN 4
