19. Close bypass valve X by rotating clockwise until
firmly seated.
ASSEMBLY/SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS
20. Remove the battery cover and the battery from
the machine. Fill the battery to the bottom of the
vent wells with electrolyte and trickle charge for
several hours. Replace the battery in the
machine and make the connections, red to
positive first, then black (ground) to negative.
Install battery cover and secure with previously
removed nuts.

- Keep sparks and
flame away.
- Disconnect negative
terminal first.
- Reconnect negative
terminal last.
