(108)Continue the fluid purge until the panel i s correc tly purged in ac co rdanc e with Figure 3 and
Table 2.
NOTE: To get an even flow over the panel it may be necess ary to lightly run a dry cloth or
paper to wel over the leading edge a nd/ or t he dry spots of the panel during purging.
(109)Stop the fluid supply.

(111) Disconnec t the purge tank lin es .
(112)Install a new S2800- 942 Sealing R ing and connect the left horizont al stabilizer TKS supply line
to the tailcone proportioning unit.
(113)Disconnect the right horizon tal st abil izer TKS panel supply line from t he tailcone proportioning
unit.
(114)Connect t he purge tank lines to th e right horizontal s tabilizer TKS panel as near to the panel as
you can.
(115)Apply pressure of 10 ps i, do a check for leaks in the line, and repa ir all leak s .
(116)Apply pressure of 20 psi to slowly start the flui d flow through the panel.
(117)Wait until the fluid sta rts to come out all the holes at the same rat e along the f ull length of the
panel a nd increase the pressure to 65 p si.
(118)Continue the fl uid purge until the panel is correctly purged in accordance w ith Figure 3 and
