(132)Install a new S2800 -942 Sealing Ring and connect the vertical stabilizer TK S supply line
to th e tailcone proportioning unit.
C. Complete t he system operational test as follows:
(1) Make sure that t he circuit brea ke rs that follow in Table 3 are engaged:

(3) Put a five-gallon bu cket be low the p rop slinger. Put one blade of the prop v ert ical and down
and put the bucket under t hat blade.
(4) Add TKS fluid to the tank as necessary until the indicator in the sight glas s is above the
minimum departure mark.
(5) Put the EXTERN AL P OWER s witc h to the B US position.
(6) Put the FLUID CONTROL PRIMA RY switch t o the HI GH p os ition.
(7) Wait unt il the fluid starts to co me ou t all the holes along the full length of the panel.
(8) Make s ure that t he fluid comes out of all of the panels and the propeller slinger.
NOTE: Actual fluid flow from the porous panels during t his test will be different at different
times as the ambient temperature changes. If there is no indication of fluid flow on
one or more panels, that panel must be purged again.
(9) Turn the propeller until each blade (one at a tim e) i s v ertic al a nd down and make s ure that fl uid
comes out of the feed t ube at eac h blade.
(10) Put the FLUID CONT ROL PRIMARY switch to the O FF position.
(11) Discard the TKS fluid fr om th e buckets y ou col lect ed it in during the fl uid purge.
(12) Put the FLUID CONT ROL PRIMARY switch to the HIGH p os ition.
(13) Let th e system operate for five minutes.
(14) Put the FLUID CONT ROL PRIMARY switch to the O FF position.
