3. Using the tags created during removal, remove
the plugs and connect the fuel return hose, fuel
outlet hose, and vent hose.
4. Using tags created during removal, connect the
wiring harness to the fuel sender.
5. Make sure all the hoses are connected and fill the
fuel tank with fuel.
6. Inspect the filter cap for wear, damage, or clog-
ging and replace if necessary.
7. Connect the negative cable to the battery.
8. Refer to Section 3 and the engine Manufacturer’s
Operation Manual for information on purging the
fuel system.
