Installation Notes
Install the chassis components by reversing the order of
removal.
Disassembly and Assembly
See Figure 9-20.

1. Support the rear frame using a suitable lifting device.
2. Remove screws (12), flat washers (14), nuts (11) and
rear frame (13).
3. Remove screws (12), flat washers (14), nuts (11) and
left/right tank brackets (18 and 19).
4. Remove screws (12), flat washers (14), nuts (11) and
support straps (15).
5. Support the left and right frame rails.
6. Remove eight screws (4), AV washers (3) and two
cross braces (5).
4WD clamp brackets (10) are only used with 4WD option.
7. Remove four screws (4), four screws (12), eight AV
washers (3), four nuts (11), 4WD clamp brackets (10)
and radiator cross brace (9).
8. Remove remaining screws (12), washers (14) and
nuts (11) and separate inside chassis rails (16 and
17) from chassis rails (1 and 2).
Assembly Notes
• Assemble the chassis by reversing the order of
removal.
• Tighten nuts (11) to 78 ft-lb (106 N·m).
• Tighten screws (4) to 72 ft-lb (97 N·m).
