► Remove the valve adjustment shim

using a bar magnet.
► Measure the valve adjustment shim using a
caliper.
► Insert the new valve adjustment shim.
► Hold the rocker arm pusher

in position.
► Press down on the slide plate

slightly
using the rocker arm pusher.
► Slide the pin

forward by hand.
► Slowly release the rocker arm pusher.
The valve spring slides the slide plate
upwards again.

► Remove the cover from the chain channel.
NOTICE! Valve breakage due to insufficient
valve lash.
► Check the valve lash.
