ENGINE REASSEMBLY
2. Insert the cover

T30: Install the bolt

according to the
specification Other bolts M6 Standard. (See
section D Tightening torques und assembly
instructions.)
The crankshaft locking tool is still installed.
1. Replace the water pump axle

NOTICE! Leaks caused by damaged sealing
surfaces of the water pump axle. Do not damage
the water pump axle during installation.

7 mm: Install the water pump axle.
INSTALLING SLIDE RING SEAL
6. Insert the sealing bracket

3. Replace the sealing bracket.
4. Coat the gasket

and o-ring

lightly with
petroleum jelly.
The slide ring seal area

must remain clean
and free of grease.
5. Coat the inside of the oil seal

lightly with
petroleum jelly.
