ENGINE REASSEMBLY
INSTALLING GENERATOR COVER
1. Remove all residues of engine oil inside the
generator cover

2. Remove the oil seal

3. Replace the oil seal.
4. Press the oil seal into the generator cover until
stop.
5. Coat the inside of the oil seal lightly with
petroleum jelly.
6. Insert two sleeves

7. Apply the silicone liquid seal according to
the specification Liquid sealing contour
generator cover. (See section D Liquid
sealing contours.)
8. Position the generator cover

to the
crankcase.
The stator cable is not fully shown in the figures.
9. Check if the gasket of the stator cable
5
is
properly seated.
