ENGINE REASSEMBLY
COMPLETING AND CHECKING OF THE WORK
Turn the ignition on for about a minute, until the
throttle body opens and closes again.
When warming up the engine you must not hear
any unusual noises.
1. Warm up the engine.
2. Perform a visual inspection. No leakings of
fluids should be visible.
3. Run the engine through all operating modes.
INSTALLING ENGINE INTO THE VEHICLE
1. Install the engine into the vehicle. (See the
vehicle manufacturer‘s documentation.)
SECURING THE ENGINE
WARNING! Spinal column injury caused by
incorrect lifting of heavy loads. Always lift the
engine using a workshop crane.
NOTICE! Breakage. Lift the engine only using the
brackets.
Depending on the engine model, use the
brackets

.
1. Lift the engine using the brackets until the
engine is mounted on the engine stand.
Observe the references in the chapters.
