Connect the Ethernet cable to the WAN port on the N8900/N8900PRO and to your network.
Connect the power cord to the device and turn it on.
Access the interface using the default IP 192.168.1.100 and admin/admin login.
Insert the CD and launch setup.exe or .dmg if it does not auto-start.
The wizard automatically detects all Thecus NAS devices on the network.
Log in to the device using the administrator account and password.
Assign a system name and configure network settings (Fixed IP or DHCP).
Secure the device by changing the default administrator password.
Launch the administrator web interface via the "Start Browser" button.
