PROBLEM:
Changes in Display and Power Supply
PRODUCT
AFFECTED:
Spectronic GENESYS 10 & BioMate 3 models with serial number ≥ ###D260###
have been manufactured with the new display and Power Supply
APPLIES TO:
Repair at customer site Repair at Depot
DISPLAY:
Whenever a Display (either the older-style Hantronix with black wires and the
13-pin connector, or the newer-style EDT with white wires and the14-pin
connector) needs to be replaced, order the 335901-657S Display Kit.
Please note that the 335901-657S Display requires software revision (1.103
for the Spectronic GENESYS 10, and 1.001 for the Spectronic BioMate 3). If
the unit has software of a lower revision, upgrade to the current revision (see
TSB S-400).
POWER SUPPLY:
If an older-style Power Supply (Shindengen) needs to be replaced, order the
335901-653S TPI Power Supply Kit.
If a newer-style Power Supply (TPI) needs to be replaced, order the 335901-656 TPI
Power Supply.
