CHANGING THE BATTERY:
When the “ “ appears on the display, the battery is exhausted and needs replacing. Remove the
battery compartment lid located at the top of the thermometer and discard the old battery. (See
Figure 1) Insert a new equivalent battery (LR41, 1.5V). Ensure the battery is correctly positioned
with the “+” facing down or towards the back of the unit. Replace battery compartment lid.
