Assemble the carriage bolt, rectangular washer, and square clamp-on as illustrated.
Wrap the clamp-on around the load bar to the loose position while holding the carriage bolt.
Align clamp-on bolts with holes on the bottom of the ski carrier and set the carrier down.
Firmly tighten the front clamp-on, then open the upper arm to 90 degrees to tighten the rear clamp-on.
Lower the upper arm and mount skis with tips facing towards the rear.
Push the hood down until the latch clicks securely, noting its two settings.
Follow lock instructions; directional arrow on hood indicates locked position.
Periodically inspect knobs, bolts, screws, straps, and locks for wear and fatigue.
Remove rack and accessories before entering automatic car washes or when not in use.
Adapt speed to road conditions and load; obey all posted speed limits and traffic cautions.
Do not exceed carrying capacity or use for unintended purposes to avoid voiding warranty.
