If you suffer from any medical condition do not use a Thumper® massager, any other electrical
massager, or manual massage without first consulting your doctor. Always remember that
Massage should be pleasant and comfortable; if you feel pain or discomfort, discontinue use
immediately and consult your physician.
Serious side effects or adverse events with massagers are extremely rare, but as with any kind
of massage therapy (with hands or with massage equipment) it is important to observe the
following contraindications:
Do NOT use a massager if you have:
Concerns about your health
Uncontrolled high blood pressure
Varicose veins
Lesions
Blood clots
Lymphedema
Skin conditions such as shingles, herpes, or extreme dermatitis such as eczema, acne, or
psoriasis
Neuropathies
Pregnancy
Peripheral Vascular Disease
Pace makers
Arterial stents
Kidney problems
Post-surgery without a doctor’s clearance
Severe osteoporosis
Unexplained calf pain
Advanced stage disorders
Do not use on testicles, ovaries, breast tissue, eyes, ears, head, neck, kidneys or directly on
bone
administered.
Do not use massager in close proximity to loose clothing or jewellery.
Keep long hair away from massager when in use.
Remove battery when storing or transporting Lithium2 massager.
