IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
WARNING: this unit is designed to be used indoor and is not suitable
for any outdoor applications.
Never look directly at an illuminated UV lamp.
Power must be supplied through a Residual Current Device (RCD) with a rated residual operating
current not exceeding 30mA.
This unit must be earthed. Never use a fuse larger than 3 amps.
Always isolate the unit from mains electricity and turn off the water supply before carrying out
any maintenance.
The unit must not be submerged in water.
Do not run this unit dry.
Do not cover this unit.
If the quartz sleeve is cracked, replace it immediately.
Do not operate any appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is malfunctioning, or if it has
been dropped or damaged in any way.
Always leave a drip-loop in the cable to prevent water running down the cable and reaching the
power source (see diagram).
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

DISPOSE OF THIS UNIT RESPONSIBLY
Check with your local authority for disposal information.
UVC bulbs must not be disposed of in household refuse but must be taken to an authorised collec-
tion point for environmentally responsible disposal.
