11) Adjustment of Idle Engine Speed
1. Start engine and run for 5 minutes to warm up.
2. Turn throttle stop screw 4 to direction c or d to adjust idle
engine speed.

· Turning throttle stop screw to direction c
increases the idle speed.
· Turning throttle stop screw to direction d
decreases the idle speed.

1,250 - 1,350r/min

3. After adjusting idle engine speed, open throttle several
times, and then, continue idle operation for more than 15
seconds to check that engine idles consistantly.
10) Inspection of Idle Engine Speed
1. Start engine and run for 5 minutes to warm up.
2. Check idle engine speed.

· Use tachometer to measure after warm up
operation.
· Set the measurement mode to 4 stroke 2
cylinder · 2 stroke 1 cylinder.
