1. Turning on the power switch (1) at the upper
left side of the instrument initiates self-
checking of the probe. If the biometry probe
is not detected (i.e., no probe or pachyme-
try probe connected), the message “ Probe
Check ... NG ” (no good) will be presented.
2. Adjust the contrast of the screen with the
contrast adjuster (2).
3. Tilt the screen forward by pulling out the
“legs” (3) on the bottom of the instrument,
if desired.
