1.Ensurethatalltheinternaltransmissioncomponentsarecorrectlyinstalled
beforetransmissionisinstalledtothemachineframe.
2.Carefullyinstallthetransmissionassemblytowardrightsideofthemachine
sothattheextensionhousingisinsertedintotherightdrumhousing.
3.Alignthetransmissionmountingholeswiththeframeandrightdrumhousing.
Installandngertightenthefastenerstosecurethetransmissiontothe
machine.
A.The4washer-headscrews(item8inFigure56)thatsecuretheextension
housingtotherightdrumhousing.
B.Thebolt(item13inFigure56),hardenedwasher,andange-headscrew
thatsecuretherearofthetransmissiontotheframe.Ensurethatthe
washerisbelowtheframetube.

4.Onceallthefastenershavebeeninstalled,fullytightenthefastenersinthe
followingorder:
A.The4washer-headscrews.First,torqueallthescrewsto1.7to4.5N∙m
(15to40in-lb).Then,useanalternatingcrossingpattern,torquethe
screwsto9.6to10.7N∙m(85to95in-lb).
B.Theboltandange-headscrewthatsecuretherearofthetransmission
totheframe.
C.Theange-headscrewthatsecuresthefrontofthetransmissiontothe
frame.
