RunProcess
Pushingthetractionengagementleverforwardclosesthetractionswitch.This
closedswitchisusedasaninputbytheTECwhichcommunicatestotheelectric
motortoengage.Themotorrotationspeedandthustractionspeedisdetermined
bythespeedcontrolsettingthatisadjustedbytheoperator.Actualmotorspeed
ismonitoredbytheTECandmotorcontrollersothatastractionloadchanges
(e.g.,movingupordownanincline)themotorcancompensateasnecessary.
Engagingthecuttingunitwiththeengagementleverclosesboththetractionand
reelengageswitches.Theelectricmotorwillbeengagedwithcontrolofmotor
speedhandledbytheTECandmotorcontrollerbasedontheoperatorspeed
settingandloadonthemachine.
TheEZturnfeatureofaneFlexmachineisavailablewhenthecuttingunitis
engagedandtheEZturnswitchontheconsoleisintheONposition.When
turningthemachinewithEZturnengaged,thegroundspeedwillbereducedas
thecuttingunitisraisedfromtheground.Speedwillincreaseasthecuttingunit
isloweredbacktotheturfafterturninghasbeencompleted.TheEZturnfeature
isnotactivewhenthemachineisintheTRANSPORTposition.
