TheEZturnswitchallowstheEZturnfeaturetobeturnedonandoff.This
switchis1oftheseveralinputsfortheTEC.TheEZturnswitchislocatedon
theswitchpanel(Figure106).
Note:TheEZturnfunctionisonlyactivewhenthemachineisbeingoperated
withthecuttingunitengaged.Also,theEZturnswitchandEZturnsensorarein
seriessobothswitchandsensorhavetobeONfortheEZTurnfunctionbeing
ON.IfeithertheswitchorthesensorisOFF,theEZTurnfunctionwillbeOFF.
CheckingtheOperationofEZTurnSwitch
ChecktheoperationofEZturnswitchwiththeInfoCenterontheconsole.With
thekeyswitchintheRUNpositionandtheInfoCenterinthediagnosticsmenu,
choosetheEZTurnandensurethattheswitchstatechangesastheswitchis
toggledbetweenONandOFF.FurtherEZturnswitchtestingisnecessaryonlyif
theswitchstatedoesnotchangewhenusingtheInfoCenter.
TestingtheEZTurnSwitch
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandplacethetractionleverinthe
NEUTRALposition.TurnthekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionandremovethe
keyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Disconnectthebatterypack;refertoConnectingtheLithiumBatteryPack
(page5–7).
3.RemovetheconsolecoverfromthehandletogetaccesstotheEZturn
switch(Figure106).
4.DisconnecttheEZturnswitchconnectorfromthemachinewireharness.
