whichcouldburnorelectrocuteyou.
•Donotattempttoopenthebatterycontroller.
•Donotplaceanythingintheconnectorofthebatterycontroller
otherthanthewireharnessconnectorthatcamewiththeproduct.
•Useextremecarewhenhandlingabatterycontrollerwitha
crackedcase.
•Onlyusethechargerdesignedforthebatterycontroller.

RemovingtheSamsungBatteryController
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandplacethetractionleverinthe
NEUTRALposition.TurnthekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionandremovethe
keyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Disconnectthebatterypack;refertoServiceProcedureIcons(page6).
Removethe8boltsthatsecuresthebatterycovertothemountbracket;refer
toFigure127.Removethebatterycoverfromthemountbracket.
3.RemovetheSamsungbatterypackfromthemountbracket;referto
RemovingtheSamsungLithiumBatteryPack(page5–80).
4.Notethepositionoftheconnectorsandwireharnessonthecontactorforthe
assemblypurposes.Removetheconnectorsfromthecontactor.
5.Removethe2nutsandboltsthatsecuresthecontactortothemountbracket.
Removethecontactorfromthemountbracket.
6.Ifnecessary,removetheTECcontrollerfromthemountbracketasbelow:
A.UnplugtheconnectorsfromtheTECcontroller.
B.Removethe2boltsandangenutsthatsecurestheTECcontrollerto
themountbracket.
C.RemovetheTECcontrollerfromthemountbracket.
7.Ifnecessary,removetherelayfromthemountbracketasbelow:
