fromthehub.
AssemblingtheTransportWheel
1.Iftheshoulderscrewswereremovedfromthehub,applyLoctite#242(or
equivalent)tothethreadsoftheshoulderscrews.Securethetorsionspring
andretaininglevertothehubwiththeshoulderscrews.
2.Assemblethetire,tube,anddeeprim.
3.Installtheshallowrimintothetire.Alignandsecuretheshallowrimtothe
deeprimwiththe4bolts(item12inFigure146)and4angenuts.Tighten
thefasteners.
4.Installthehubintothedeeprim.Securethehubtothedeeprimwiththe3
bolts(item1inFigure146)and3lockwashers.Tightenthefasteners.
5.Inatethetireto83to103kPa(12to15psi).
InstallingtheTransportWheel
1.Ensurethatthemachineisparkedonalevelsurfaceandthekeyisremoved
fromthekeyswitch.
2.Supportthemachineonthekickstand.
3.Slidethetransportwheelcompletelyontothewheelhexshaftuntilthewheel
retainingleverissecuredintothegrooveonthewheelhexshaft.
