3.Removethecuttingunitfromthemachineandplaceonalevelworking
surface.Useappropriatesupporttoraisethefrontrollerfromthework
surface.
4.Loosenthebolt(item6inFigure167)thatsecuresthefrontrollershafttothe
eachfrontheight-of-cutarm.
5.Ononeoftheheight-of-cutarms,removetheHOCnut(item5inFigure167),
HOCwasher,andplowboltthatsecuretheHOCarmtothecuttingunitside
plate.RemovetheHOCarmfromthecuttingunit.
6.SlidethefrontrollerassemblyfromtheremainingHOCarmonthecutting
unit.
7.Ifnecessary,removethesecondHOCarmfromthecuttingunit.
InstallingtheFrontRoller
1.Placethecuttingunitonalevelworkingsurfaceanduseappropriatesupport
tosupportthefrontofthecuttingunit.
2.InspecttheconditionoftheHOCscrews(item3inFigure167)inbothHOC
arms.Ifthescrewreplacementisnecessary,applyanti-seizelubricanttothe
threadsofnewHOCscrew.ThreadthenewHOCscrewintotheHOCarm.
Note:WhenassemblingHOCarmstothesideplates,ensurethatthering
onHOCscrewtsintothenotchonthesideplate.
3.IfboththeHOCarmswereremovedfromthecuttingunitsideplate,position
oneofthearmstothesideplate.Securethearmtothesideplatewiththe
plowbolt(item2inFigure167),HOCwasher,andHOCnut.Thetabonthe
HOCwashershouldbepositionedintotheHOCarmslotandorientated
downtowardtheroller.
4.Slidethefrontrollershaftintothearmattachedtothecuttingunit.Slidethe
secondHOCarmontotheotherendoftherollershaft.Securethesecond
armtothecuttingunitsideplatewiththeplowbolt(item2inFigure167),
HOCwasher,andHOCnut.
5.CenterthefrontrollertothecuttingunitandsecuretotheHOCarmswith
thebolts.
6.Adjustthecuttingunit;refertotheCuttingUnitOperator'sManual.
7.Installthecuttingunittothemachine.
8.Afterallnecessaryadjustmentshavebeenmade,connectthebatterypack;
refertoConnectingtheLithiumBatteryPack(page7–3).
