DisassemblingtheRoller
1.Toholdtherollershaft(item7inFigure170)forbearinglocknutremoval,
installa3/8-24UNF2Bscrewintothreadedendoftherollershaftandsecure
thescrewinplacewiththejamnut.Whileretainingtheshaft,removethe
bearinglocknutfromeachendoftherollershaft.
2.RemovetheV-ring(item2inFigure170)fromeachendoftheroller.
3.Carefullyinspecttheseatingsurfaceandthreadsofthebearinglocknuts
(item1inFigure170).Replacethelocknutifthereisanydamage.
4.Looselysecuretherollerassemblyinabenchviseandlightlytaponeend
oftherollershaftuntilthesealandbearingareremovedfromtheroller
cavity.Removethesecondsealandbearingfromtherollercavitybytapping
ontheshaft.
5.Cleanthebearingcavityintherollerandremoveanyrustwithcrocuscloth.
