appropriatewrenchorsocketon1inchhexsurfaceofshaft.Do
notuse1/2inchextensionontheendofthereeldriveshaftwhen
looseningortighteningthedriveshaft.The1/2inchhexisintended
forbacklappingonly.
4.Installthebearinglockscrew(item4inFigure179)andreeldriveshaft
intothereelshafttosecurethebearings.Thereeldriveshafthasleft-hand
threadsandshouldbeinstalledintheendofthereelshaftidentiedwitha
groovethatisjustinsideofreelspider.
Note:Installationtorqueforbearinglockscrewandreeldriveshaftis123to
149N∙m(90to110ft-lb).Itiseasiesttotorquetheseitemsafterthecutting
unitisinstalledinthecuttingunitframe;refertoRemovingtheCuttingUnit
