Bearingsshouldbeinstalledwithextendedinnerracestoward
centerofhousing.Also,applypressureequallytoinnerandouter
bearingraceswheninstallingbearings.
A.Pressnewouterbearingfullytoshoulderofrightdriveplatebore.Then,
installnewinnerbearinguntilinnerracecontactsouterbearingrace.
B.Pressnewbearingintoleftsupportplateuntilitisushwithshoulder
ofbearingbore.
C.Installnewsealsintogroomersideplates.
Note:Sealsshouldbeinstalledsothatthelipsideofthesealwillface
thecenterofthecuttingunit.Whenbearingsaregreased,greasewill
purgefrominnerseals.
2.Installleftsupportplatetoleftsideofcuttingunit:
A.Applyanti-seizelubricanttothreadsofleftgroomerarmliftrod.
B.Positionsupportplatetocuttingunitmakingsurethatleftgroomerarmlift
rodispositionedthroughbushinginsupportplate.
C.Placespringwasherandlocknutonliftrodthreads(Figure201).Tighten
locknut.
D.Installreeldriveassembly,reelpulley,reeldrivebeltandthenreeldrive
covertoleftsideofcuttingunit;refertoReelDriveAssembly(page4–16).
