RemovingtheGearBoxAssembly
1.Parkthemachineonacleanandlevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunits
completelytotheground,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthe
keyswitch.
2.Removethegroomerreelassembly;refertoRemovingtheGroomerReel
(page9–12).
CAUTION
Contactwiththereelorothercuttingunitpartscanresultinpersonal
injury.
Useheavygloveswhenhandlingthecuttingunit.
3.Safelypreventthereelfromrotatingbyblockingthecuttingunitwithapiece
ofwoodnearoneofthereelspiders.
IMPORTANT
Thegroomergearboxusearight-handthread.Turntheinputshaft
counterclockwisetoremovethegearbox.
