1.Iftheshields,bearing,orbushingwasremovedfromtheidlerarm,install
newcomponentsasfollows:
A.Pressthebushingintoagroomerplateuntilthebushingiscenteredin
theidlerarmbore.
B.Pressthebearingintotheidlerarmsothatthebearingcontactsthe
shoulderinidlerarmboreandinstallthebearingretainingring.
C.Installthebearingshieldswithockedsideofshieldtowardthebearing.

stubshaft(item10inFigure219)throughshieldsandbearing.Usethe
throughholeintheshafttopreventshaftfromrotating,tightentheange

3.ApplyLoctitetothe2socket-headscrewsandsecuretheadaptorandidler
armtothecuttingunitsideplate.
4.Installanewcotterpinandclevispinandsecuretheheightadjustmentrod
tothefrontoftheidlerarm.
5.Installtheelectricmotortothecuttingunit;refertoElectricMotor(page5–69).
