1.Installallthecomponentsthatwereremovedtothereeldrivehousing(Figure
25).Iftheballbearings(item8inFigure25)wereremovedfromtheidler
shaft,useapresstoinstallnewbearingsandthebearingspacerontothe
shaft.
2.ApplyalightcoatingofgreaseonthereeldrivehousingO-rings(items4
and23inFigure25).
3.Positionthereeldriveassemblytothecuttingunit.Ensurethatthespringpin
(item26inFigure25)andcompressionspringarepositionedbetweenthe
reeldrivehousingandthebearinghousingassembly.
4.Securethereeldriveassemblywiththe2ange-headscrews(item20in
Figure25)andwasher-headscrew.
5.Installthewoodruffkeytothereeldriveshaft(item21inFigure25).Apply
anti-seizelubricantatthetopofthekey.
6.Slidethereelpulley(item18inFigure25)ontothereeldriveshaftuntilit
contactstheshoulderontheshaft.Securethereelpulleywiththe2set
screws;torquethesetscrewsto8.3to8.9N∙m(74to79in-lb).
7.Installthereeldrivebelt;refertoReelDriveBelt(page4–14).Ensurethat
thereeldrivecoverissecuredtothehousingafterthebeltinstallation.
8.Slidethetelescopingcouplerontothecuttingunithexshaft(Figure26).
9.Connectthebatterypack;refertoConnectingtheLithiumBatteryPack
(page4–3).
