RemovingandInstallingtheOptionalFrontLiftCylinder
RefertoFigure69forthisprocedure.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,loweranyattachments,engagethe
parkingbrake,setthekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionandremovethekey
fromtheswitch.
2.ReadandadheretotheinformationprovidedinGeneralPrecautionsfor
RemovingandInstallingtheHydraulicSystemComponents(page5–54).
3.Cleanthettingandhydraulichoseconnectionsbeforedisconnectingthe
hydraulichosestopreventsystemcontamination.
4.Disconnectthehydraulichoses.Capthettingsandplugthehosesto
preventsystemcontamination.
5.Removetheretainingringsthatsecurethecylindertothemachine,then
removethecylinderandcylinderpinfromthemachine.
6.Ifthehydraulicttingsaretoberemovedfromthecylinder,markthetting
orientationforassemblypurposesandremovethettingsfromthecylinder.
DiscardtheO-ringsfromthettings.
7.Installtheoptionalfrontliftcylinderinthereverseorder.
8.Ifthehydraulicttingswereremovedfromthecylinder,lubricatenewO-rings
withcleanhydraulicuid,positiontheO-ringstothettings,andinstallthe
ttingsinthemarkedorientation;refertoInstallingtheHydraulicFittings
(SAEStraightThreadO-RingFittings)(page5–9).
