b. Loosen the three mounting bolts on each side of
the machine (Fig. 097).
IMPORTANT: Do not remove the bolts at this time.

6. Rotate the rear wheels until the transaxle chain
master link is accessible (Fig. 099).

7. Remove the master link and remove chain. Repeat
for the opposite side of the machine.
8. Disconnect the bell crank control links from the bell
cranks (Fig. 100).

5. Remove the right and left side chain guards (Fig.
