Transaxle Chain Tensioning
1. Tighten the front mounting bolts and the trans-
mission adjustment plate bolts on both sides of the
unit tight, then loosen them one turn.
2. Turn the adjustment bolt to move the transmission
adjustment plates and hydros (Fig. 121).

3. Tighten until the chain has between 1/4” and 1/2”
deection (Fig. 122).
