5. Disconnect the engine wiring harness from the main
wiring harness (Fig. 164).

7. Remove the throttle and choke cables from the
engine. Mark the wires with tape or a marker to
ensure they get reinstalled correctly (Fig. 166).

6. Disconnect the ground wires from the engine block
