4. Loosen the two transmission support plate bolts
located at the front of the unit under the mufer (Fig.
202).
6. Remove the chain (Fig. 204).

5. Jack up the rear of the unit. Turn the rear wheel until
the master link is accessible on the transmission
chain. Remove the master link, cover plate, and
spring clip (Fig. 203).

7. Loosen the tine chain tensioner (Fig. 205).
