Theoptionalslopesensormoduleislocatedunderthebatterycover.Once
installedandcalibrated,theoptionalslopesensormodulemonitorstheangleof
themachineduringoperation,andnotiestheoperatorofapotentiallydangerous
conditionviaanLEDlightonthedashboardandanaudiblealarm.Switched
andunswitchedpowerfortheslopesensorisprovidedthroughthemachine
expansionport.Inadditiontothe30Ampfuseinthefuseblockprotectingthe
unswitchedpowersupplytotheexpansionport,anadditional2Ampfuseis
includedintheslopesensorwireharnesstoprotecttheslopesensormodule.
Theslopesensormodulecannotbetesteddirectly.
CalibratingtheSlopeSensor
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunitsandsetthekey
switchtotheOFFposition.
2.Removethebatterycover.
3.Removetheplugfromthecalibrationconnectorsandconnectthecalibration
connectorstogetherasshown;refertoFigure139.
