WhenthecuttingdeckliftleverismovedtotheRAISEposition,hydraulicuid
owisdirectedtothedeckliftcylinders.Thehydraulicpressureagainstthe
cylinderpistonsretractstheliftcylinders,liftingthecuttingdeck.Whenthedeck
liftcylindersreachtheendoftheirstroke(oriftheliftarmsarepreventedfrom
raisinganyfurther),thereliefvalveinthesteeringcontrolvalveopensanddirects
thehydraulicowbacktothepumpuntiltheliftleverisreturnedtotheneutral
position.Thepressurereliefvalveopensat120-125bar(1,740-1,813psi).
Note:IfthecuttingdeckliftleverismovedtotheRAISEpositionwhilethe
steeringwheelisbeingturned,thecuttingdeckliftspeedwillbereduced.
