WhenthehopperliftleverismovedtotheLOWERposition,hydraulicuidow
isdirectedtothehopperliftcylinders.Thehydraulicpressureintherodsideof
thecylindercausesthepistontoretractandlowersthehopper.Whenthelift
cylindersreachtheendoftheirstroke,thereliefvalveinthesteeringcontrol
valveopensanddirectsthehydraulicowtothepumpuntiltheliftleveris
returnedtotheneutralposition.
Thedeckcleaningbladeiscontrolledbythedeckcleaningcylinder.Thepurpose
ofthebladeistoswipeacrosstheopeningofthegrasschutewhenthehopperis
tilted.Thisaidsinkeepingthechuteclearofgrasscuttingsandotherdebris.
WhenthehoppertiltleverismovedtotheLOWERposition,hydraulicuidowis
alsodirectedtothecuttingdeckcleaningcylinder.Pressureintherodsideof
thecylindercausesthepistontoretractthedeckcleaningcylinderandoperate
thebladeassemblysimultaneously.
