6. Inspect the tapered caster bearings and races for
pitting or other damage (Figure 109).

7. Pack the bearings with grease and reinstall in the
housing. Press in a new seal.
8. Reassemble the caster into the bearings (Figure
110).

9. Tighten the bearing adjustment nut until there is a
slight drag felt in the bearings.
10. Replace the dust cap.
