1.Preparetheframeandsecureanyfuellinesorwireharnesscomponents.
2.Installthemuferand2newexhaustgaskets.
3.Installthemufernuts.Torquethemufernutsto16–18N•m(12±14ft-lb).
4.Lowertheengineontotheframe.
5.Alignthefourholesoftheenginebasetotheframe.Installtherearmounting
boltsandBellevillewashersloosely.
6.Installthe2frontboltsandBellevillewashersthroughtheclutchanchorand
intotheenginebase.
7.Torquethe4enginemountingboltsto36-45N•m(30±3ft-lb).
8.Installthekeyandenginepulleyontothecrankshaft.
Note:Installtheenginepulleywithsmallerdiameterhubtowardtheengine.
9.Installtheclutchontothecrankshaftensuringthattheslotintheclutchaligns
withthetabontheclutchanchor.
