3.Movetheseatforward.
4.Cleanthedebrisandgrassfromthehydraulic-unit
shrouds(Figure75).
5.Positiontheseat.

1.Drivethemachineontoalevelsurface.
2.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),movethe
motioncontrolleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition
andengagetheparkingbrake.
3.Shutofftheengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,
andremovethekey.
4.Raisethebackofthemachineandsupportthemachine
withjackstands.
DANGER
Mechanicalorhydraulicjacksmayfailto
supportmachineandcauseaseriousinjury.
•Usejackstandwhensupportingmachine.
•Donotusehydraulicjacks.
5.Removethereartiresfromthemachine.
6.Removeanydebrisfromthebrakearea.
7.Rotatethedrive-wheelreleasehandletothereleased
position.RefertoUsingtheDrive-Wheel-Release
Valves(page27).
8.Checktoseeifthereisavisiblegapbetweenthe
L-bracketandthelinkagestop(Figure76).
