8. Repeat process for second fi lter (2007 and prior
models).
9. Open the fuel shut-off valve.
10. Start the engine and check for leaks.
6. Install a new fi lter. Note directional arrow embossed
in the side of the fi lter (Fig. 643).

7. Connect the fuel lines to the fuel fi lter so that the
fuel fl ows through the fi lter in the direction of the
arrow on the side of the fi lter housing. Slide the hose
clamps into position and tighten (Fig. 644).

5. Loosen the two hose clamps and disconnect the fuel
lines from the fuel fi lter (Fig. 642).
